I really dig SiliconFarmer’s detailed instructions on how to automate a chicken coop door. It uses a windshield wiper motor and a custom-designed Arduino shield to control it.

The gutiarist of the famous band, Rammstein, used Artuino to steer different mic positions next to an amplifier. He recorded different mic positions until he achieved the most satysfying one (which he saved). It is a proof in favour of the fact that technology can make art better.
