Bangkok’s Industrial Talat Noi Neighborhood

Photographer Gustavo Sanabria has a lovely photo series that provides a peek into Bangkok, Thailand’s industrial Talat Noi neighborhood.

Via Google Translate:

Talat Noi is the name of a neighborhood south of Chinatown in Bangkok along the Chao Phraya River. Formerly was home to most of the blacksmiths, tool steel producers. After the Second World War blacksmiths had to adapt and become mechanical. Now a network of alleys full of shops and parts stores.

You should go to the north of chinatown , too. There were klong-thom which is an legendary industrial supply. you can find a many type of screw, bearing , tool and used stuff there. Also, you may wan’t to walk up north to the Ban-Moh area which is an electronic surplus area. You can find ot of electronic stuffs over there. And for the craft ,you can walk to the west you will find PahuRath and SamPheng.

    Have a good day. : )
