Over at eLABZ, Dmitriy made an LED-enhanced box of chocolates that would delight any maker’s mom on Mother’s Day. He was able to tuck an ATtiny13 underneath the heart-shaped box, which he programmed using the Arduino IDE (for more information about how to do this, check out How-To: Shrinkify Your Arduino Projects). With only 5 GPIO pins on the ATtiny, Dmitriy resorted to Charlieplexing to drive the 10 LEDs embedded in the box. Nice work and happy Mother’s Day! [via Arduino]
