Recipe: Homemade Maraschino Cherries

I can’t get enough of fresh cherries right now, no matter how stained my fingers become. I can’t say that I’ve been a big fan of the bright red maraschino cherries that adorn fast food ice cream sundaes, but the idea of making them fresh in my kitchen is very appealing.
