And we’re back with our thirty-seventh installment of Your Comments. Here are our favorites from the past week, from Makezine, our Facebook page, and Twitter.

In response to Maker Faire Detroit: Mind Flame Interview, Johnny Wise says:

To be fair, the people who did this first are the game makers of the kit we based our whole build off of. Not sure of the name of it at the moment, but I think it came from think geek.

Anyway, This and our Red Bull entry are different enough in execution and I am pretty sure we didn’t see each others projects first. When I came up with the Red Bull idea it was just hot and I wanted a way to get wet. =)

What we really need to do is team up and build a fire vs. water mind battle. Control the water and fire bursts by concentration and one person tried to burn something down while the other tries to dowse the flames.

In the piece Beware of Gravity Dips, Walter Anderson remarks:

Shame that in the US a store that did this would most likely lose the lawsuit when some idiot fell on their backside…

In response to Maker Faire Detroit: Power Wheels Racing Series Interview, user danfisher says:

My favorite power wheels drifting video, in the snow.

In the piece Maker Faire Detroit: The Girl Who Plays with Fieros Interview, asciimation says:

“I got interested by working on my own project. Before that I really wasn’t that interested in cars — it just kind of crept up on me”

Yep, that’s how it starts. The ‘problem’ with restoring old cars is once you start, it’s hard to stop! Good for her! It’s a very rewarding pastime.

In the article What Are You Doing with Your Raspberry Pi?, user Clinton Blackmore writes:

I’m working on making it so that kids can program their LEGO Mindstorms NXT robots on their Raspberry Pis using Enchanting (http://enchanting.robotclub.ab.ca/). All the infrastructural pieces are in place in Raspbian (Scratch, libusb, a JDK), and I’m fortunate enough to have an R-Pi … so, here’s hoping with a little more time I can make it work (and figure out how to package it).
