We are still looking for worthy companies to nominate for the 2nd Annual MAKE Magazine Maker Industry Awards, to be voted on by YOU and presented at World Maker Faire. We’re looking for nominees in the categories of Most Hackable Gadget, Most Repairable, and Best Documentation.

The idea behind the Makeys is to nominate mainstream companies (not makers or small maker businesses) that are serving the needs and interests of the maker movement and celebrating them. Last year’s winners included Microsoft (for the Kinect) and Parallax (for their educational programming).

We especially need candidates in the documentation and repair categories. Please share any ideas in the comments below. You can find out more about the Makeys here.
