The View from the Summit

Yesterday, starting at the very hacker unfriendly hour of 8:30am and running into the mid evening, Eyebeam in Manhattan saw the movers and makers in the open source hardware space gather for their annual summit. There were lots of interesting talks, from the likes of Chris Anderson, Dale Dougherty, Bre Pettis, Ayah Bdeir, Leah Buechley, and others. There were also some great hardware demos and the all-important eating, drinking, and schmoozing (where most of the good stuff goes down at most such events). Here are a few sights from the day.
