These two items popped up on my news feed at the same time and I felt the coincidence warranted some coverage. The Building Character Etsy shop sells these wine stoppers made with billiard balls.

In a more impressive vein (how did they drill through them so perfectly?) Eleanor Salazar fashioned these unisex rings from mini billiard balls, creating some stylish jewelry from an unlikely source.
