North Carolina-based industrial designer Preston Moeller shared a couple of clever trampoline repurposing ideas with us on Make: Projects. The first is the Bencholene, pictured above, and the other is the Rocking Trampoline Hammock, seen below. Fresh!

While Preston didn’t give us so much a detailed step-by-step, the general gist is there. Plus, who can resist getting excited about recycling trampolines with visual gems like this:

Preston has won acclaim for his Rubber Band Chair, made out of a whopping 65,000 rubber bands, and you can get a window into his technique with another project he shared on Make: Projects, the Rubberband Man.

I'm senior editor of MAKE magazine and have worked at MAKE since the first issue. I'm a word nerd who particularly loves to geek out on how emerging technology affects the lexicon as a whole. When not fawning over perfect word choices, I can be found on the nearest mountain, looking for the ideal alpine lake or hunting for snow to feed my inner snowboard addict.
