In the article Konrads’ Illusive Installations, Angel Ramirez says:

Her work is stunning. I especially love the piece with the stone walls. It made me feel as though some deity was placing it there from the heavens.

In the piece DiResta: Hatchet, Roy Jacoben remarks:

I have to admit that at first I was a little concerned that you were going to “ruin” a beautiful old tool by transmogrifying it into something else. (Not that there’s anything inherently wrong with transmogrifying things.) I caught on soon enough, and I have to say thanks for bringing what once was a beautiful hatchet back to life, and for inspiring me to attepmt putting a new handle on an old draw knife (which once was my late uncle’s.)

In attempting to make the Deluxe LED Menorah Kit, Twitter user Davey Oil expressed himself about the build in three succinct tweets:

Soldering electronics is fun! Thanks, @make pic.twitter.com/j92bav11

Screw this! Soldering is hard! Damn you @make !!! Why aren’t all the LEDs lit? Aaaaaaargh! #stupidhardstuff pic.twitter.com/KXvJcXow

Alright, @make I gave it my best shot. Not too bad for a beginner. I’ll do better next time. We can skip Hanukah tmrow. pic.twitter.com/z7HfmpJ3

In response to Foxconn, Makers, and the Future of U.S. Manufacturing, Michael Rosenblatt says:

This is really interesting to us, because our company is launching a new tech product, ATOMS, and we’re right now vetting whether to manufacture in the US or China. It’s not clearly cheaper to manufacture in China, but we are having trouble finding manufacturers here that are as vertically integrated – where we can get PCB assemblies and final assembly done one roof. We should know by late January where we are going to build our product.

In the article Roentgens’ Desks, 18th Century Transformers, author Gareth Branwyn said, “If this video of a desk from 18th German cabinet makers the Roentgens (pronounced “RUNT-ghen”) doesn’t blow your neck bolts, nothing will.” Drillbert G. Pressington responded with:

I didn’t even -know- I had neck bolts. But, indeed, they are in fact blown.

I’m sure mcmaster-carr has a neck bolt section here somewhere…

In the Google+ MAKE: Forum, Dan Sheadel showed off his homemade workbench, stating, “A significant amount of my furniture came from a very productive dumpster a half mile away.” In response, Laura Cochrane remarked:

Nice! Now I want to see a secret map of all the “productive dumpsters” in my area.
