The folks behind the highly anticipated Pebble smart watch, a crowdfunded project that’s now the stuff of Kickstarter legend, say they have some big news to share with backers and the world Jan. 9. Their latest Kickstarter update says “It’s (almost) Time.”

The Pebble team will host a press conference to announce the news at CES 2013, a consumer electronics show in Las Vegas.  Tune in to the announcement via live streaming video at www.getpebble.com.
