She works on stage content for the flagship fairs (Bay Area & New York), and also runs Maker Faire's global licensing program for locally and independently produced Maker Faires. She also co-creates the East Bay Mini Maker Faire in her town, Oakland, CA.

twocargarage — The original King Midget cars were produced in the 1950s and 1960s in Athens, Ohio. Mike and Matt Beebe of Midget Motors Supply have been supplying parts for these kit cars for years, and will be sharing their new kit car based on King Midget’s most popular model.

The first annual Cleveland Mini Maker Faire is coming up tomorrow (Saturday, April 13) from 10am – 6pm at the Cleveland Public Library’s downtown branch.

Free to attend, the fair will feature 53 maker exhibits spread out over the library’s six floors.

Besides Midget Motors (see pic above), be sure to check out the Osloom (CNC Open Source Loom project for electromechanical thread) and all the exhibits from the Northeast Ohio Mobile Fab Lab. Plus there is a complete lineup of talks.
