Back in January, I told you about the results of Axeda’s earlier hackathon. On Sunday, I’m one of the judges in Axeda’s next hackathon, and hope to meet you there! Advance registration is free, and there are even prizes… pretty big prizes:

Join us for an exciting 24-hour M2M Hackathon competition sponsored by AT&T. This hackathon is designed for both technical and non-technical attendees to build apps, connect products, and compete for $10k in prizes. Bring your team if you have one. If you don’t have a team, no worries, you can find a team to collaborate with on site.

Hardware (Arduino and Multitech) will be loaned to participants. We will provide caffeine to keep you going. Technical and business experts will be on hand to assist you in the building of your app.

Prizes Provided by AT&T

  • 1st Place: $6,000 cash
  • 2nd Place: $3,000 cash
  • 3rd Place: $1,000 cash

Three finalists will be informed Monday. First, second and third prizes will be announced at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 7th as part of the Axeda Connexion keynote. Finalists will be able to present their solution to hundreds of M2M industry leaders and innovators.

Registration for Axeda M2M Hackathon Sponsored by AT&T, Sunday, May 5, 2013 – Monday, May 6, 2013.
