David Neevel made one of the best viral videos of 2013, the “Oreo Separator Machine.”  It is dry-funny and it stars his whack machine that removes the white [disgusting] faux Oreo cream.

He is a maker who knows how to tell a story. He is a copywriter at Wieden+Kennedy in Portland. He is also a physicist.

You should 1) refresh your wit sensors and watch the Oreo Separator Machine below and 2) come to David’s talk/demo on the Make: Live stage at Maker Faire Bay Area, this Saturday 4—4:30 p.m.

(FIRST!, I know it’s immature to call the first comment) I prefer creme over cookie. Anyways, what song was at the beginning of the video? It sounds a lot like Scott pilgrim vs. the World: The Game (which I am thinking of porting to a Raspberry Pi powered arcade machine).

  2. i’m really amazed on the concentration, even though getting the creme out is quite a waste..hehe.. it became an insight on the use of electronic components, building up such machines, good for some industries and factories..it’s quite a hobby, or an obsession, but made into profession..well, to make those in several years, isn’t a joke..its good to see those in action..really loved it..
