Ann Arbor’s 5th annual Mini Maker Faire is set for tomorrow, June 8, at Washtenaw Community College. The event is free to the public and more than 50 exhibiters are ready to show their stuff.

Read all about the event here and here.

Among the highlights: Inventor and museum exhibit builder Michael Flynn will bring his newest exhibit, the CloudBean, a giant inflatable mirrored mylar dome.

Michael Flyn’s CloudBean will be on display at the Ann Arbor Mini Maker Faire.

Also look for presentation from five different speakers who will speak in 20 minute sessions.

Here’s the line-up:

  • Noon: Tom Root: Why to Start–or Support–Your Local Makespace
  • 12:40pm: Matthew Shlian: Paper Engineering
  • 1:20pm: Bound Edition: A New Book Arts Maker Space
  • 2pm: ATC: Creating Sustainable Technologies for Low-Income People Worldwide
  • 2:40pm: Jason Ferguson: Rudimentary Precision

By partnering with Washtenaw Community College this year, there is more space for makers and presenters including classrooms, computers labs, and (next year) an auditorium.
