Our new Maker Sessions program began last week with Urban Sensor Hack, an open workshop via live online events. The goal of Urban Sensor Hack is to bring together makers who are creating sensor-based applications that take advantage of cheap sensors and microcontrollers to track events or monitor conditions in urban areas. Today’s event features Sean Montgomery of Sensostar talking about bio-sensing, and Kipp Bradford, co-author of “Distributed Network Data” taking a look at available sensor kits. It will be held starting at 3:30pm PT/6:30pm ET via a G+ Hangout on Air that you can access via the G+ Community site, or the Urban Sensor Hacks landing page. Join us!
