Next Tuesday, Jan. 21, we release Volume 37—the “homegrown drones” issue. The magazine will be filled with profiles, projects, and stories about maker friendly multicopters. As part of our coverage online we want to see how and where the maker community is flying their drones. If you’ve got video footage of your drone in action please sent it to me at sholbrook[at]makermedia[dot]com. Please put “drone video” in the subject line. I’ll be assembling the best user submitted videos in a post next week.

I put out a call for videos last year and got some great stuff. Have a look.

And if you’re in the neighborhood, we’re hosting a drone fly-in Jan. 20 in American Canyon, Calif. Fly on over!
