These incredible glitch-inspired textiles, handwoven by artist Margo Wolowiec, seem to serve as literal illustrations of the way that our lives are becoming more and more intertwined with electronics as the line between the physical and digital worlds continues to blur.

I am concerned with the slippages that occur when information is translated from one source to another, where meaning shifts and migrates, and data becomes malleable. Through textile processes and material concerns, my work aims to question the intangibilities of our daily lives through embodied knowledge, while drawing upon a wide range of cross-disciplinary discourse ranging from architecture to sociological studies of memory and nostalgia.
