It might take a second for your brain to register that this imposing wave sculpture, by Belgian-born Australia-based artist Annette Thas, is actually made of Barbie dolls. It’s remarkable how seamlessly the dolls’ blonde hair blends in with the sandy beach where it was installed as part of a public exhibition called Scupture By The Sea.
