When the leaves turn from green into beautiful hues of orange, yellow, red and brown, we know it’s time to get crafty. While raking your yard or going for a walk in the park, collect the prettiest leaves and grab your paper punches. These leaf die cuts would look great in paper crafting or Modge Podge projects.
Be sure to preserve your leaf shapes by pressing them inside some heavy books. You my also want to consider preserving them with the wax paper method.
This project was spotted over at Elise’s blog Grow Creative. Check it out for lots more great tutorials and crafty ideas.

I’m wondering if there are any other ways to preserve them. For example would Mod Podge or gesso keep them from drying up? Or even beeswax?
Keep writing. Very helpful information provided. Thanks.
