Playing with Pop Art: Warhol Soup Cans for Kids

CAMPBELLsoup (1)

There is so much potential in an empty can. Katie Day knew this, and collected them until one day she came up with a great idea on how to use them.

Katie decided to create her own soup can labels for her daughter’s retro play kitchen. She drew up these pop art graphics inspired by the famous Andy Warhol soup can paintings. There are several brightly colored label combinations, all of which are available to download as a free printable PDF on her website. You can scale the image up or down to suit the size of your can.

If you don’t know any kids that could use these as a toy, then why not use them as decor in your own grown-up kitchen? This would make a cute coin bank, or a place to keep your secret stash of chocolate.

See the full project over on Katie Day’s Blog.
