Where can you get these? I am unable to find a supplier. Where did you get the $60 figure from? The list of materials is not broken down by cost.Posted by TimothyS on September 06, 2010 at 07:55:46 Pacific Time

We bought these from a local manufacturer. They may not be available in your area, but you can use any brick.
If you want CEBs, you can press your own. There are plans for manual presses online, and you can also buy one, if you look around. Check out OSE, they have an open source, automatic CEB machine:

The $60 price tag is what we paid for the supplies. The bricks cost us about $0.18 each, plus $9 for a 100lb sack of portland cement.
Your price will depend on the size of your floor and the selection of materials available.Posted by velacreations on September 06, 2010 at 15:24:37 Pacific Time
