Original model piece(s) you want to cast
Silicone rubber for moldmaking
Silicone rubber thickener (optional)
Silicone rubber accelerator (optional)
Blue silicone sealant
Spun hemp
Stone plaster
Casting resin
Water-based (pottery) clay
Foam core
Plastic hemispheres, 3/4", available at any plastics supply store
Vaseline or mold release
Mineral spirits
Aluminized tape
Hot glue and glue gun
X-Acto knife
Clay sculpting tools: wire loop, carver, etc.
Rolling pin
Putty knives or screwdrivers (2)
Paintbrushes, about 1" (2)
Squirt bottle of water
Soft cloths or rags
Pencil and marker
