Hi Makers,
Thanks for your enthusiastic feedback!
We're going to do a preview release based on the Make article later today. You can read about it on our blog
I hope Make's loyal subscribers forgive us for delaying the release while they already had the article in their hands and were anxious to get their hands on the Modkit editor.
Hopefully you've had time to get the parts and to build your own CrimpCard. You'll be programming it soon!
Best,
EdPosted by Ed@modkit on January 25, 2011 at 05:11:39 Pacific Time
- Very disappointing that this is not released

Hey Make, what gives? If your magazine is about actually making cool stuff, rather than being spectators, then you have an obligation to only write about tools that are available. Reading this article, getting excited about it, and then finding that it is only an alpha that is invite-only is lame. If the Modkit people can't get their act together in time, then don't publish their article.Posted by Rhabyt on January 23, 2011 at 13:10:37 Pacific Time

What's the deal? I figure since there was this great article about ModKit that it must be available for the general populace. Otherwise its not really a useful article.
It could at least have said the site was coming soon. My son and I were very excited to try it out since we've already been playing with Scratch.Posted by airampoa on January 20, 2011 at 13:58:58 Pacific Time
