Vol. 30: The Measure of a Man

Make a ruler by using some standard thing you know the dimensions of, like a sheet of letter-sized paper.

Correction for page 157
In Volume 30’s “Howtoons” project [page 156, “The Measure of Man”] the 7" measurement is incorrect. It should be measured from the left outside edge to the right edge of the smallest rectangle. Thanks to reader Thomas Zink of Springfield, Ohio, for spotting the error.

I tried it. It works, but the 7 inch mark is mislabeled on page 157. & inches is from the outside edge to the edge of the first small square.
