Dsmidi
Alpha of a Nintendo DS MIDI sequencer, Therain writes – “I have been hard at work the past couple of weeks creating a MIDI sequencer that uses my MIDI library and hardware hack for the Nintendo DS. The dSTAR Sequencer will be an x0x like sequencer with drawable bar graph sequence lines… The demo uses the DS’s touch screen to control MIDI CC’s 1 and 2 from the X and Y axis.. much like touch controllers like the Korg Kaoss Pad. “ [via] – Link.

KennyM – see the via link? it’s to hack a day, we always credit where we see stories and hack a day has some great ones. MAKE (me) and hack a day (elliot) are pals – we usually cover each others stuff, but in general try not to overlap since a lot of people read both sites… a little bit of trivia, i founded hack a day when i was working with engadget :)

Hey, I’m happy to have people linking to my projects… it’s pretty neat to know that people are interested.

For the record, though, the quote above (as it stands 8/5 just after midnight) was pieced together from two seperate postings on my blog… and as fate would have it, these are actually two seperate programs for the DS. dSTAR is not yet released, but the DSMIDI Demo v.1 is on the site for download right now.
