I think plain old table salt instead of copper sulphate will work for etching. I am not sure. I seem to recall that from something I was playing with a long time ago. Someone should try it out.

Can anyone help out and explain where to get such a battery or give advice on a good (Safe) tutorial on how to use a power supply or something similar for this project.

    Thanks.
