I’m on a roll this week (pun intended!). After the tipi last Saturday, last night I used some canvas and sail thread from other projects to make a tool roll to carry with me on my old mountain bike (which I converted to a single speed, inspired by your weekend podcast of a few months ago).

If you are using vise grips on your bike with any regularity, you are using the wrong tool. But some bike wenches for your kit, they are lighter, better and won’t f*!@ stuff up like a vise grip so often will.

I see there’s no comments here, but this is a great post. Not just for bikes, but easily adaptable to an frame-attachable go-anywhere tool roll. Thanks for posting this and I’m going to make one myself.
