    I’m currently using the Beagleboard for a sound installation. I had quite a few troubles with the sound channels (semi) randomly switching left/right when dealing with user logins (?!) on both Angström and Ubuntu. Since it’s critical for the project, I found a semi-stable solution on Ubuntu: constantly streaming to the DAC after boot, then logging in a user and executing two commands with sudo.

    Yes. It’s a terrible hack. If anybody has pointers, I’d appreciate hearing about them:
