I love this project – digital pinhole photography is one of the fun perks of having a DSLR.

Pretty clever idea to use tin lids for this – the tobacco one looks awesome on that camera. Two concerns though: 1. Light leakage from the tape 2. Hard to get a tiny, precise pinhole in a thicker lid.

I have a writeup on making a DSLR pinhole camera using an old SLR body cap and a piece of aluminum foil, including how to find the exact center point of the circular cap (one of the challenges is placing that pinhole accurately). Might have some tips that will be helpful.
