    I’d add a black string hanging from the top point that could attach to the wall by the ground, to add a little bit more to the illusion.

    That’s pretty neat but I think a thick plumb line hung from the top right corner to the ground would help the illusion. Try adding a line in a graphics program and you’ll see what I mean. Without that the illusion keeps disappearing for me.
