Now who’s going to do a bulk order for the boards and populate/sell these??? :-)

Looks nice, but for me this project is not so useful as I don’t plays my movies on the TV from a PC.  I have a DVD player, a set-top box connected from my ISP and a media player (not PC based) connected to it.  Not a PC within visible range.
If the device had a hdmi or composite video input I’d be getting one (or building a clone) this instant.

I allready etched the board and found most of the components (by coincidece i ordered 100 smd rgb leds yesterday) but i couldn’t find any store to sell the led driver chip (i’m from germany) anyone know a compatible one, that is easyer to get?

Right now the device is backorder in their store. Does anyone know how much it costs?

I just received an email (in russian!) about pre-orders costing 2790 rubles (~85 USD).
Unfortunately, it seems that they only ship to Russia for the moment…
