Volume 04: Costumes

CRAFT 04 is our Crazy for Costumes issue, where you'll learn about hula hoop couture, anime dress-up, and how to make a pirate costume for your pooch or a burlesque headdress for yourself. Beyond costumes, we'll show you how to knit a hay twine rug, work with natural dyes, carve your own crochet hooks, build a mod vinyl bench, macrame a suede curtain, create your own fabric designs, start your own craft business, and much more. A total of 29 projects!

The error

On page 43, in the first paragraph of the second column, there is a section that reads,

"Having a website is no good unless people find out about it, of course. “Keeping a blog, or sending out some sort of update e-mail is very important,” says with four years of experience under her belt. “Swapping links with other small businesses is great too.”"

Sadly, the ghost in the machine ate up several words that should have been there. The section should read,

"Having a website is no good unless people find out about it, of course. “Keeping a blog, or sending out some sort of update e-mail is very important,” says Heidi Kenney (mypapercrane.com), a craft-biz veteran with four years of experience under her belt. “Swapping links with other small businesses is great too.”"
