Don’t worry, Cookie Monster hasn’t been turned into some kind of arm chair hunting trophy, this beautifully fluffy, blue thrown is the work of recent Sewing Seeds resident Brigitta Varadi. This chair sculpture is feautured in her current exhibition called SEEDS FABRICATED at Brooklyn’s Green Acres Community Garden.

Seeds Fabricated explores the relationship between the green space, its surrounding buildings and the human presence, while evoking the ancient craft of felting and natural dyeing. Plants from the garden were used to fabricate the color range, creating an intimate relationship between the artwork and its setting, reflecting its essence of renewal of life and memories of the past.
