Photo Transfer Fabric Sheets

I used printable Electric Quilt Inkjet Fabric Sheets for my Modern Heirloom Quilt for CRAFT: 05 - it is great to work with, and you just need a regular home printer! The fabric is lovely to the touch and the colors reproduce nicely. I used an older printer that was nothing special, so the colors aren’t nearly as vivid as a newer or specialty printer might produce. Below is the original photo I took of the Observatory at Griffith Park.

You can see how great it looks after I printed it onto one of the EQ fabric sheets and washed it, then embroidered and stitched it into my quilt. Three years later the colors are still at this same intensity and the fabric is still just as soft to the touch and very flexible. I’m excited to use it again for different craft projects, and I want to check out some of the other versions too (like the cotton lawn and cotton satin printable sheets).
