I love both crochet and embroidery, so this lovely cross-stitched crocheted footstool cover that I spotted over on Rose Hip is right up my aesthetic alley.

Crochet makes a great gridded pattern that’s perfect for embroidered or cross-stitched embellishment, and I love how well the stitches made over crochet stand out on a more large-scale project!
