One day Paul Nosa, having no prior applicable training, started using a sewing machine to express his own imagination. The result is Free Motion Embroidery, which he demonstrates at Maker Faire Bay Area 2011. Taking cues from customers, may of his items are made to order, and watching him perform his craft is as rewarding as the final product.

I would love to know what machine he is using. singer…? great work
I have that exact same sewing machine: Singer CG-590 Commercial Grade. Mine is not nearly so quiet, though—maybe it’s time for a tune-up! I love free-motion embroidery, but I don’t think any instant creations from me would look quite so good! Amazing.
