I would really love to have these as I love to write letters and receive letters in the post..I find it somewhat tragic that we are losing the art of writing and I for one am trying one” word, laugh, and love poem” at a time to keep this lovely way of communicating alive..
    thank you,
    Corinne

  2. Marissa says:

I would love to win because I love sending and getting snail mail in beautiful packaging!

  3. nycdesigner says:

I would love to win these because as a designer I’m always looking for unique ways to dress up correspondence. If I win I’d probably design an invite to a party and send them out in the different envelopes!

  4. CindyLou says:

I have always loved stationery and still have a stash of paper in gorgeous colors that I picked up on a shopping trip during my freshman year of college (many moons ago). Sadly, I didn’t think to get envelopes, so winning a pack of these beauties would help me use my lovely paper and encourage me to start writing letters again!

  5. knitzy says:

I would love to have these envelopes to use with my handmade photo cards. I know, I could make envelopes, but it is a lot of work, and these are gorgeous colors and fun sizes. My mom makes cards too so I might let her have some (you know I would!)…

  6. Cheaplazymom says:

House full of crafty girls. We make LOTS of cards and we are always scrounging for envelopes.

  7. Rebecca says:

I am a big letter writer – and love to make my own cards. I am already thinking about holiday cards and these envelopes would be fun to use!

  8. rchandsa says:

I love the colors of these envelopes.

  9. snaffy says:

I would love these envelopes to send off letters I should have been sending a long time ago. :)

  10. craftyxplorer says:

Would love to get back to letter-writing! With emails, texts, social-media, the concept of writing a letter has been lost. I would like to send some hand-written letters to some old friends and see what reaction they get when they open their mailbox as opposed to an inbox! Long live letter writing! =)

  11. Brianna says:

Those are beautiful. I love writing letters and making my own cards, so these would be great to have. I have also been wanting to try making an accordion book out of envelopes, it would look lovely in these!

  12. kateEkaos says:

The Mohawk colours are fabulous! I’m just deciding on a design for my Christmas cards and will use Mohawk papers as they’re lush quality – winning some envelopes would be the finishing touch!

My mom loves to make her own greeting cards with hand drawn botanical art and this would make a sweet holiday gift for her, paired with some recycled blank card stock. Thanks!

  14. Debbie says:

I would like these envelopes to help teach my daughter about writing. My Husband and I are retired and our daughter that we adopted 4 years ago is in third grade. We are teaching her through a public online school here at our house. I would love to teach her about real mail and the different ways to create letters to go inside of the envelope. Thanks bunches for this opportunity.

I’m hosting a fundraiser for my non-profit in November and would love to increase the odds of folks opening the envelope if they are confronted with a beautiful envelope!

  16. eclare78 says:

I have recently been moved from full time to part time and am hoping to generate extra income by starting a letterpressing business. These envelopes would be great to offer with letterpressed cards.

  17. Bonney says:

I’m really thinking a lot about a handmade Christmas this year and I’d love to embellish these envelopes and have something really lovely under the tree. These papers look really rich!

  18. Alli says:

I am graphic designer and a longtime lover of Mohawk papers.
Recently, I’ve decided to branch out into the world of calligraphy and would LOVE to have these envelopes to showcase my work and use as samples for prospective clients.

  19. Sativa says:

I don’t think I could catch my breath if I won this contest! I am in love with Mohawk!
    Love,
    Sativa

  20. sassaffraz.myopenid.com says:

I hand-make all my own cards – but I never have envelopes! So sometimes I hand-make my envelopes – but this would be way better!

  21. lanejm says:

I got married a few weeks ago and it seems that neither of us brought envelopes with us to our new home. We’re always searching around the house for one to scrounge up. We should just go and buy a box, but somehow we never get around to it. We could sure you some envelopes around here.

  22. firstthingsfirst.myopenid.com says:

I would use these envelopes for letter writing, of course! I love handwritten letters and correspond with several friends (I’ve been writing with one, whom I’ve never met, since 1993!) in this medium. I love the tactile nature of snail-mail and the thoughtfulness that it demands in both the writing and the reading.

  23. whereisshannon says:

I would use these envelopes in many ways – invites to our holiday party, of course our holiday cards, and also a way to collect and organize all of the different, fun, ephemera that I have around my craft room :)

  24. Stella says:

I am a pretty paper addict. Really. It’s out of hand. You probably shouldn’t pick me… But… Please pick me!!!!!

  25. catchat105 says:

Blank stationery is just asking to be adorned. And adding personal touches makes handwritten letters and notes that much more personal and special. Each piece can be uniquely tailored to please the recipient and make their day brighter.
These envelopes would look nice with some embellishments from my scrapbooking materials. I would love to see and hear about the reactions from my pen-pal in Japan! And with the holidays coming up, it might just give me an incentive to skip store-bought greeting cards and write letters or make cards myself!

  26. MaryZoom says:

I would bind these together as journal pages you can keep stuff in, like photos, memories or even store coupons. These are beautiful.

  27. VB says:

Those would be fantastic for all the swaps I have going on with friends from all over the world.
Currently, for bonding purposes, we have a Scarf Swap (I just finished my 6ft+ crochet scarf!), penpal swap, and a Happy Swap. The last I’m most excited about, we have to ship little knick-knacks to our partners to cheer them up.
Just right for the upcoming holiday season. (:

  28. anna says:

I like to tailor my correspondence to fit the envelope. Even if it’s just a plain piece of paper, I cut it to size, or fold it to fit in a fun way. So, that’s what I’d do with these. And, odd sizes are also useful for sending actual real photographs to the grandparents.
    Thanks!

  29. Meghan Thimjon says:

Well I am an avid writer, I LOVE to send notes to anyone and everyone in the mail. I don’t get that many back but when I do I love to receive that special something in the mail.
I also make my own cards! I also make the envelopes sometimes.
I am off to go and visit the website, love the colors of the envelopes!
    FUN FUN FUN

  30. ammieloris says:

    Lucky, indeed!
Today I made myself a large envelope to mail a card (and a knit hat) to a friend. So fun!
Of course, I don’t always have 45 minutes to spend making an envelope.
I am always making cards to send to friends and family, just to send a little piece of me, and because the old-fashioned can feel so good, and because writing letters is fun and charming and I need all the charming I can get! I would LOVE having an assortment of gorgeous envelopes.
ammieloris at hotmail dot com (in case I am the lucky one)
    & thanks for the giveaway

  31. grcooper says:

I make a lot of my greeting cards, so they do not automatically come with the correct sized envelopes. Most of the time I actually make the envelopes as well! Mohawk envelopes would be that added touch! Would love to win these :)

  32. Thekeletubbie says:

Can you smell that? That’s the whiff of crisp delicious new paper making its way into my house. Yum.
But we have no time to chat about it. Heartless partners don’t want gorgeous new paper goods making their way to the safe haven of my craft room. Something to do with over crowding.

  33. GeorgiaBrowne says:

I, as many others, would like to be the ‘winner’ of the Mohawk – fine envelope kits.
I write thank you notes at every opportunity because, unlike this email, the notes are personal, you can hold them in your hand and read them again and again. My friends prop my notes on their desks. Granted, I also make the cards. Handwritten notes are very special in these rushed days where it’s easier, even for me, to quickly type an email and be done with it. You can even send a birthday card these days by email but ugh – who really, really wants one of those.
So, in closing, I would like the envelopes because I would make good use of them.
Thank you for reading my note.

  34. bytesizedpieces.wordpress.com says:

Those are beautiful! I’d love them to send notes, but I’d probably also make some envelope gift boxes out of them. How fun would that be?
    Isabel

  35. papelhilo says:

even in the era of emails, I love sending real mail, and these enveloppes are perfect !

  36. sewalive says:

if i won these envelopes, i’d use them to send pics of our brand new baby to our family and friends. they are so much more festive than plain white, plus not machine-manufactured! the wee bairn agrees w/me – i’m holding her right now and that is why i’m typing like e.e. cummings.
    thanks!! :)

  37. katiefromkansas says:

First: Thanks for this opportunity! I’ve always had a paper and office supply fetish so can barely contain myself with the thought of winning these lovely supplies. I think there is nothing more valued that a hand written note and I’d love to be able to send mine in these lovely, colorful envelopes.

  38. UnicornChow says:

I have a few pen pals that I still send snail mail to and I use weird paper that I make or buy at thrift shops, so my letters always get sent in plain white envelopes. Boring – how cool would these be to send letters in? I won’t know unless I win. :)

  39. denise says:

how could anyone not want to win these gorgeous colored envelopes? To be given with a handmade card or sent as mail art. Yeah baby!!

  40. holycrow says:

I run two monthly craft groups and both will be making cards for the holidays. 3rd Monday is a free, public group that meets at the local library. The library gives me a small amount of money for supplies so I scrape together whatever I can to supplement. The Temple of Craft is a group of friends that also meets for free so I can encourage them to try different crafts. Many members started as non-crafters.
We use a lot of recycled cardboard, paper, tagsale finds, coconut shells, and even rusty barbed wire. These envelopes would be a welcomed addition to the stash and will make our project so much nicer as a finished card to send.
Please consider me for this give away.

  41. jonskifarms.wordpress.com says:

The envelopes are gorgeous. I would use them to mail my stash of cards-without-envelopes (some homemade, some scavenged). So much more lovely than a plain white envelope, even more reason to decorate and embellish!

  42. KOKO says:

So beautiful. I love the rich colors. Just winning the bag would be worth the contest. They make you want to touch them. I would love to then share them with my special friends.
    Thank you.
    KoKo

  43. pita says:

    I would love these papers.

  44. Jenny says:

I love colored envelopes! I think they add such a nice touch to a colorful handmade card! Who wants to finish the project with a boring white envelope!

  45. Rebecca Francis says:

I would love to win these envelopes/papers. I teach a cardmaking/papercrafting class every Thursday night at church and I never have any envelopes to give the ladies. I do not charge for the class and provide all of the materials. Winning these envelopes would be a huge help to me.

  46. Leslie says:

I would love these for my baby shower and baby announcements since we will be having a fall baby!!:) How awesome!!

  47. Linda from Vegas says:

Major paper addiction!! I work with paper all day every day while crafting. This would be such a wonderful addition to my paper/envelope stash. They are beautiful and classy.

I would love to be the lucky winner of such fine papers, as I have just acquired a set of linocut and block printing tools that deserve a beautiful canvas to be used upon. Just think of the lovely possibilities- cards galore just in time for many holidays! I’d love to do my share to keep creativity and the U.S. postal service alive!

  52. ArtbyJulieH says:

  54. Andi Fasimpaur says:

I frequently incorporate envelopes into my hand bound books. I’d love to have a stash of quality paper and envelopes for book binding.

  55. phoenix9876 says:

Since I moved away from home last year I’ve started sending mail to my friends once a month or so. One lives in Australia, I’m in Canada, and three friends are in the US. I would love to win this package so I can split up the winnings and send envelopes to my friends for our pen pal snail mail writing. Letter writing is a lost art and this would add a lot of fun to our mailings.
    Thank you.
    Genevieve

  56. cziser says:

I would love to win this giveaway. It would be a first! I am an avid card-maker and am always looking for envelopes. The cool thing about this, though, is you get to try out a variety of colors and types. I wish the company sold packages of different envelopes like this. I checked and didn’t see anything obvious. Thanks!

  57. Jennifer says:

these look beautiful, i would love to win.

  58. spundone says:

Winning these envelopes would provide me with a pile of beautiful paper to decorate with an enormous stash of old maps that I rescued from my library’s trash bin. I would love to have this beautiful collection to line in old road maps, and will also make handmade cards from the upcycled maps. Hey, I could even write a tutorial for Craftzine! Pick me!

  59. l.short.1230 says:

The envelopes are lovely! thanks for the giveaway

  60. Sav O'G says:

LOVE this giveaway–I’m always in need of envelopes! I agree with bubble blower–sending letters is something that doesn’t happen often. I usually get BILLS!! LOL:) So I am always trying to send as many letters and cards as I can:) THANKS for the chance to win!

  61. Merisusa_G says:

My boyfriend’s been living in another city this year and we’ve been using the real mail for a change and spice to our way of connecting and I’m always looking for nice envelopes to send him. I’d love to get my hands on these ones!

  62. Sezouli says:

I have a bit of a love affair going with stationery and vintage cards, most of which either don’t come with an envelope, or the one they come with is so old and dirty, there’s no way I’d lick that tab! Plus, the better quality envelopes protect the cards so much more~!

  63. kc says:

Absolutely beautiful paper! I just adore fall colors!!!

  64. the yam puff says:

As a lover of letters and fine papers, I know you have to give a little to get a little. In other words, if my letters go out in super fine envelopes maybe I’ll get some super fine correspondence in return!

  65. ricciolina says:

…because I need motivation to send more letters!!

  66. anavida says:

I would love these, i’m making christmas cards from “upcycled” cards and card stalk prints from magazines and books… this would be really cool to have envelopes that i can mix and match!!

  67. knittergirl1 says:

I would love this because my children love to make things. What could be better than making their envelopes to mail their letters and art to their family and friends?

  68. asaerich.myopenid.com says:

Who doesn’t love finely crafted paper? I’d love to have these around for holiday card-making awesomeness.
