Book Giveaway: 1, 2, 3 Quilt

1, 2, 3 Quilt CVR

As a crafter who has only dipped her toe into the world of quilting, I was excited to see this book land on my desk the other day. 1, 2, 3 Quilt, by Ellen Luckett Baker of The Long Thread, is a collection of 24 projects that are designed to hone your quilting skills. The chapters are organized by shape, “the essential design element of any quilt,” Baker writes.

The combination of gorgeous photography and spot-on fabric colors/patterns makes every project appealing. Take a look:

Quarter Circle Coasters1
From the Circles chapter: These bright and cheerful Quarter-Circle Coasters can be crafted in under an hour.
Squares Chapter Openerrev
From the Squares chapter: the Game Mat (front left), the Pixel Pouch (front right) and the Lopsided Squares Quilt (behind).
