The African Flower motif is one of my absolute favorites in crochet. It’s colorful, it’s beautiful, and it looks way more complicated than it is. The only problem is, the traditional design is a hexagon, which can be frustrating if you’re trying to create continuous straight edges on a finished project. Luckily, Barbara Smith from Made in K-Town has created a wonderful technique for making African Flower granny squares!
