I’ve never been one to shy away from offbeat accessories, and Heidi’s spring-welcoming astro turf peter pan collar tutorial over on Hands Occupied makes me very, very happy.
Sometimes I like to get a little wacky with my crafts. In honor of spring, I wanted to make some fun accessories. So today, I bring you a Peter Pan collar necklace made with astro turf. Yes, wacky, but I like how it turned out. I’ve worn this out a couple of times since making it to see what random people think, and got a ton of compliments!
I don’t know about you, but I’d totally wear one in public! Head over to Hands Occupied to see the full how-to!

I LOVE this! I have made tops and skirts utilizing Astroturf…and shown the pieces on the fashion runway and in galleries. This is great for using up small scraps. AWESOME!
