If you’re a fan of the coordinated hats, gloves, shoes, and handbags of bygone eras, you’ll love this vintage pattern for sewing mid-century day gloves shared by the ladies over at Pattern Patter!

This lovely glove pattern is meant to be hand-sewn, and would make a lovely project for a cold and snowy afternoon.

The instructions and template were written and designed by Edith M. Hummel, and originally appeared in the January 1956 issue of Workbasket Magazine.
