How-To: Crochet Pincushion Storage Jars

Craft & Design Yarncraft

Not only is this project a nice way to reuse empty jars, it’s a cute idea for collecting all the small items you need for a sewing project – with a crocheted pin cushion on top!
The tutorial from Her World.com is in Danish, but travels reasonably well through Google Translator, as you can see when you click the link. (Apparently “stgm” means “dc” – perhaps one of our Danish readers can offer some help there?)
If you’re stumped by the pattern, though, you could really use the round head pattern from many amigurumi designs to make the shape. Or, crochet a flat circle and then give it straight sides.

I love the website this is from. It’s in Dutch, but if you crochet you can probably figure out how to make some of the great designs there. Scarves, bags, bibs… so cute!

It is in Danish, not Dutch. There is a difference. Danish is from Denmark. Dutch is from the Netherlands.

I knew that. My fingers were typing and my brain wasn’t thinking! Sorry!
