How-To: Lace Trimmed Moleskins

Paper Crafts

How-To Tuesdays

Generally when I put together projects for CRAFT, I avoid talking about time spent or the costs of materials. That’s because everyone works at their own pace, and materials can dramatically vary in price. But today’s project is all about fast and cheap.
These Moleskin notebooks are $3 each, and the lace trim I used cost me literally $.10 a yard. And as for time, in less than 5 minutes I was able to make 3 notebooks. I think they would make perfect gifts for bridesmaids in a wedding, or just make a bunch and have them on hand as last minute gifts for any occasion. So simple, so fast, so easy to customize.

Step 1: Measure out enough trim to wrap around the cover of the notebook. Cut it to length with sharp scissors.

Step 2: Run the gluestick along the edge of the paper cover of the notebook.

Step 3: Add the lace. Done and done! Now go make more!
