April is Shoe Month here on CRAFT, and I can’t think of a better way to kick things off (pun intended?) than with a cool project like this dollhouse made from a leather boot by Sharon of Handmade Obsessions.

Since I was a little girl I always wanted a shoe dollhouse most likely because there was an old lady who lived in a shoe or so I was told …

She has some great step-by-step pictures of how she transformed a thrifted leather boot into a dollhouse. I’m really impressed with how she was able to get it to be so sturdy.
If you have a footwear fetish, you’re in luck this month. We’ll be sharing lots of cool shoe projects and flashbacks. If you have a favorite shoe project, be sure to let us know!
