I‘ve been making a couple of little fishing games for my sons for christmas. They are very easy to make and, I think, will go down a treat.

I made a plastic set to play with in water (a bucket, bath, pan, paddling pool). And another set to play with on dry land. I’ve included a template for you to print off if you fancy making one too.

I uesd to make fishing games all the time when I taught pre-school. They were a great fun way to teach the kids control and dexterity. Plus you can make it even more educational by putting letters and numbers on the fish and they have to look for a certain one or they have to catch a certain color or size fish.

which are a little more durable than the ol’ stick and string, which was great for me in a pre-school setting where they got used all the time, plus they’re pretty cheap, 2 for $9.
