If you’re ready to try your hand at quilting, but want something a little more useful than a decorative mini quilt, check out this quilted hexagon placemat tutorial that Sister Diane from CraftyPod shared on Spoonflower. I love how the giant hexagons give this traditional quilting method such a bold, fresh look!
I haven’t tried paper piecing yet, but the video included in the tutorial definitely demystified the technique for me. If you’re in the same boat, I think you’ll find it to be quite helpful.
