Starting a small company? Can’t meet the 1000 piece minimum from tag-printing companies? Not a problem! Make your own labels on the cheap and never worry about wasting that hard-earned cash.

Check out the Instructable for making your own labels that uses crossgrain ribbon, a stencil of your logo, and some spray paint.

I think you mean grosgrain, not crossgrain.

    What a great idea!!!!!!!!!!!
    Thank you!!!!!!!!!

  3. Cooper says:

You can also use some fabric, freezer paper and a printer that prints what ever you want on the fabric!

While this is a fun and creative idea, if you are a serious designer this is not the place to cut corners. It will not help you get into the top boutiques and stores. Your label is one of the most important branding decisions you can make! BTW, who has 1,000 piece minimums? New York Custom Labels starts at 50 piece minimums and their prices are surprisingly low. Check them out http://www.newyorkcustomlabels.com
