For the easily-queasy, be forewarned that the pictures include shots of the artist’s fingertip cut off and lying on top of one of the pumpkins, and his chopped up finger sans bandages.

I think the results definiteley justify the means. But until I have the time and elbow room to execute this, it will have to reside in my “aspirational” file. I’m not being dismissive … I’m really psyched about the creative freedom this allows. You’re not restricted by the “just okay” pumpkin you managed to sore at the bottom of the bin, at the last moment. You can now create the perfect pumpkin!
I think this deserves some face-time in mainstream media … even MS Living. She does some heavy Hallowe’en coverage and has a wide readership. Plus, she’s all about crafting domestic utopia: the perfect venue.
Thank you for sharing this. All snarkiness aside, I am really excited about the possibilities.

    THESE PUMPKINS ARE FANTABULOSE.
BUT WHAT IS PROVIDING THE LIGHT INSIDE THEM??
I AM ALITTLE CONCERNED AS THEY ARE MADE FROM PAPER, SO OBVIOUSLY CANDLES CAN NOT BE USED, SO ARE SOME FORM OF ELECTRIC LIGHTS USED, IF SO WHA WATTAGE??
