Leftover Easter Candy Holder

If you’re like me, you’ve got some leftover candy from this weekend’s festivities. And, if you’re also like me, you feel a little guilty that you’ll be carrying said candy in your lunch for the next week. Or two… Solution? Make a discreet carrying case for your favorite treat.
The idea is simple – start by selecting your favorite treat. I measured around the candy for width, then measured again for length. I added an extra inch or two to make a flap. I pinked the oil cloth (keeps your candy protected!) and just sewed around the perimeter. To close the flap, I added a piece of scrap ribbon all the way around to make a bow. You could use any fastener you like.
Voila! You may enjoy your leftovers for as long as you like with this handy accessory.

Crafting and chocolate are a nice team. Crafting and chocolate and shame? No way. Eat your chocolate out in the open and don’t let the bastards get you down.
